Goals:

Provide safe environments for all people to expand their social skills and abilities.

Empower everyone to be the best human they can be and to make a difference every day.

Support and provide Education / Referrals / Life Experiences to our community in a proactive and friendly manner.

About Me:

I’ve got a heart of gold, growing up I longed for a positive role model but of course no one seems to fit the bill for me. This lead to a lot of confusion growing up trying to figure out where I belonged in this world.

My mission, my passion is to be a positive role model for others like me growing up in a changing world.

Having role models provides us with a certain type of “centre” from which we take and develop / mould ourselves into the humans we are meant to be.

🏳️‍⚧️ These are my core beliefs 🏳️‍⚧️

Name: Caelum (James)
Pronouns: He/They
Age: 27
Position: Admin
Occupation: Apprentice Electrician
Goals: Finish my apprenticeship, volunteer more, get back into my hobbies, and become more financially literate.
About me:
Hello!
I’ve been through a lot of trials and unpleasant situations growing up in the suburbs around Edmonton that I would never wish upon anyone. I struggled immensely with my mental health from the ages 9-25. However, I got through my hardest days with the help of amazing therapists. Without therapy, I don’t think I’d be where I am in my life today, as I’m a firm believer in mental health, taking care of yourself, and the power of positive thinking.

In regards to my gender journey, I think I always knew I was trans, I just didn’t have the vocabulary for it until I was 18.

I have been on HRT for three years now and couldn’t be happier. There’s still a few more steps to go, but it’s like “the internet router in my head” finally got cleared up and my confidence and true self is blossoming these days.

My hope as a leader for this group is to continue to be supportive, empathetic and understanding of everyone. No matter your educational, racial, sexual, gender, religious, political, or organizational background; I try my absolute best to be supportive and helpful.

I have so much to learn in life, people to see, things to do; but I am willing to remain open, calm, cool, and collected about whatever life throws at me.

Happy to help out and remember that you are so, so loved in this world.

“Vulnerability is the birthplace of love, belonging, joy, courage, empathy, and creativity. It is the source of hope, empathy, accountability, and authenticity. If we want greater clarity in our purpose or deeper and more meaningful spiritual lives, vulnerability is the path.” ― Brené Brown

Hello! I'm Kole I'm a trans Masc Nonbinary Canadian, My Background spans far and wide as I'm a German, Polish, Cech, French individual. I came out back when I was 11 years old and again when I was 13 and 15. I was met with transphobia and unwelcoming arms "I went through a Tom boy phase too" . After I changed my name in the school system I was outed to everyone in my family far and wide as well as Dr's so I know all too well the feeling of being unable to come out and have that euphoric feeling when you're accepted. I have multiple invisible disabilities that limit my access to many things as a tall disabled person but I'm still here to support everyone in the best ways I can.
